About the Doctors
Dr. William Northway
Having received orthodontic training in a Burstone-oriented program at the Université de Montréal, with significant exposure Woodside, Harvold, and Frankel, Dr. Northway combines a functional approach with a highly sophisticated edgewise orthodontic appliance, firmly based in concepts of occlusion as taught by Ramfjord during his dental training at The University of Michigan.
He taught in the orthodontic department at McGill University for six years and now maintains a private practice in orthodontics in Traverse City, Michigan. He is a frequent lecturer at graduate orthodontic departments, an active member of the Edward H. Angle Society, has authored numerous publications, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists.
Dr. Northway is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Michigan Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Resort District Dental Society, as well as founder of the Westmount Orthodontic Study Club and Resort District Dental Specialists.

Dr. Jason Hall
Dr. Hall is a native of Northern Michigan, growing up in Manton where he attended Manton Consolidated High School. After high school, Dr. Hall studied biology and chemistry at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. He then was accepted at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry, followed by an orthodontic residency at the University of Michigan with emphasis on the Tweed philosophy, preadjusted appliances, and early treatment modalities. Dr. Hall recently completed his Master's thesis entitled "Functional and Occlusal Evaluation Criteria of Post-Orthodontic Cases: Outlooks of General Dentists".
Dr. Hall is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Michigan Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Michigan Dental Association. Dr. Hall is also a candidate for membership in the American Board of Orthodontics.
In his leisure, Dr. Hall enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with fishing, hunting, camping, enjoying the outdoors of Michigan, and supporting Michigan Athletics.
